Lord Perry Patterns
Historical Patterns & Specialized Patterns for Fashion Dolls

Fashion doll patterns for the discriminating; welcome to the world of Lord Perry, a premier producer of fashion doll patterns!! We design and produce over thirty historical fashion doll patterns and over twenty  specialized fashion doll patterns such as wedding, ethnic, fantasy, and holiday attire. Recently, we have added couture fashion doll patterns in our Chez Perry pattern line.  We are widely acclaimed for the fit of our patterns, the range of pattern design and our professional approach to pattern making (check our "rave reviews" at the bottom of the page).

Our authenically inspired historical  patterns for fashion dolls in several styles and shapes have been sold internationally for over fifteen years and we have been critically acclaimed in both doll and fashion sewing publications for the excellence of our fashion doll patterns; We are pleased you are interested in our patterns and hope you will enjoy working with them as much as we have enjoyed creating them.

Lord Perry Patterns specialize in historical, ethnic, fantasy, and special occasion (such as bridal and holiday) patterns for the 11 1/2 inch fashion doll such as Barbie, and 12" dolls such as Fashion Royalty, etc.) More recently we have selectively chosen to design patterns suitable for the larger Tonner dolls such as Tyler, Odem's Gene, and Alexa Fairchild Ford by Madame Alexander.  We are currently exploring the design of the larger Fashion Royalty doll, but those patterns will not be available until later in the year. We also offer a selection of fashion doll patterns for 11.5 inch male dolls. We are also in the process of offering our long awaited couture collections under our brand name Chez Perry (in process; the first couture fashion doll pattern should be available in late March).

Lord Perry patterns usually contain at least two views (One for Grand Bellas) Several patterns contain three or more views.  The patterns are usually illustrated and all are easy to follow. They do not contain requirements for any hard to find materials, expensive machinery, or knowledge of any special sewing techniques.  The fashions are carefully researched, and slightly modified to contain details representative to the indicated fashion era. Modern materials and construction methods are suggested when creating the designs.  Due to my pattern design methodology,  most patterns can be used for both modern fit and vintage doll with only slight adjustments necessary.

Due to the larger range of sizes in the modern fashion dolls, not all views will fit all dolls (but we try), it is wise to consider any variation of size requirements.

Lord Perry Patterns has been in business since 1994 and quickly became known internationally as a quality producer of fashion doll patterns and its highly praised and requested Lord Perry Ladies (trademarked and offered only selectively at certain shows and events). Some of our dolls have been purchased for doll museums around the world.

It all began with the release of five historical costume patterns  (Versailles, Fountainebleu, Marie Antoinette, Chateau D'Or). Since their release in 1994, we have over 50 patterns available for sale. Due to family considerations, Lord Perry had been on hiatus for several years (a brief resurrection in 2007) but actively returned to the market place in 2016.  You may keep up with our recent progress by visiting our blog (Lord Perry Letters on the pull down tab) or our Facebook page (Lord Perry Patterns) for updates)). Paper based catalogs are also available (upon request and for a fee).
It is our intention to add many new patterns in the future, especially our long awaited Chez Perry Couture patterns as well as expand the Grand Bella line for the larger dolls.  Lord Perry does most of its sales by mail order.  At this time we gladly accept checks or money orders.  Contact us for more detail..read on for our ...
